Ascot
Ascot Racecourse reopened to the public in 2006 following a £200 million redevelopment, the most extensive project of its type ever seen in Europe. The Racecourse was officially opened by Her Majesty the Queen on the first day of the Royal meeting in June.
The racing calendar at Ascot does not begin and end with the five days of the Royal Meeting, however. During 2007 there are 21 other race days to enjoy including the prestigious King George Day in July, family days throughout the year with free entertainment and live music as well as five winter jump meetings beginning in November.

Windsor racecourse
Set on the banks of the River Thames, Windsor Racecourse is just a 10-minute trip by river. French Brothers operate a water taxi service on race days where our Limos can drop you off so you can enjoy the river ride, from Windsor Bridge. Boats start running 2 hours before the first race and finish approximately 40 minutes after the last race. This water taxi service costs £3 (one way) £5.50 (return). Children half price.
